Reflection

I learned speaking and writing English through group presentations and making my blog. I enjoyed making slides because I liked to make slides. However it is difficult to make and read my speech because I had to speak English to my classmates and I became nervous. Through my classmates' presentation I learned many things, for examples, a speed of reading speech, animations of slides, and idea of slides. I realize these are important for next presentation. Moreover I could communicate with friends whom I seldom talk to. Therefore I enjoyed very much! If I would give a presentation to someone next time, I'd like to remember the things I learned from this class.

Scholarship for Exchange Study Abroad Program: Two University

Hello everyone!

I’m going to introduce two universities. There are 61 Universities we can go to but I picked up Oxford University and University of Evansville.

Oxford Brookes University is in England. It takes about an hour from the London Paddington station by a train. This university is old but we can receive a high quality of education. There are about 4,000 overseas students so you may be able to find new ways of thinking.

University of Evansville is in Indiana, in the United States. It takes 15 minutes from the Evansville airport by a car. If you study at this university, you will get a room in a dormitory and you can join many activities with students of this university.

If you want to study abroad, it is important to search for universities by yourself!

Good Dessert Restaurants in Nagoya

I’m going to recommend good dessert restaurants in Nagoya.

First, I introduce about “Shilonowarl” of KOMEDA. It is very popular for young women in Nagoya. There is ice cream and syrup on a hot danish bread. It is 590 yen. There are many KOMEDA in Aichi prefecture.

Next restaurant is “Sweets Paradise”. You can eat as much as you like for 1,480 yen there. There are 30 kinds of sweets and 10 kinds of foods. For example, a berry cake, Japanese-style confectionery and pasta. "Sweets Paradise" is near Nagoya station and in Sakae. You may enjoy very much!

Grape Harvest Festival

Hello everyone!

I’m going to talk about costumes of Grape Harvest Festival. In this festival, we can see the big parade that introduces traditional performing arts of each region and people who join the parade wear various traditional costumes.

Look at this picture! They are wearing the traditional costume of Shamperne district ,Alsace district and Pulugone district and they are wearing the costume of 18C.

Participants appear their personalities using musical instruments and hats, so you will be able to enjoy seeing many types of costumes.

I’m going to talk about the history of the Lagoons of New Caledonia.

1774, the British explorer James cook discovered and named Lagoons of New Caledonia. 1853, Napoleon the third ruled there as the possession of France. The French have ruled there until now, so aborigine Kanac people rebelled against French governments. Many events were happened.

However 7th July 2008, the Lagoons of New Caledonia entered World Nature Heritage Site because of its special beauty.

Now, the Lagoons of New Caledonia is called ‘the nearest island to heaven’.

Legoland

Hello everyone!

First, I’m going to talk about Miniland. At Miniland, there are many miniature buildings. Every miniature is made of lego. Look at this picture. It looks like a real air port. And you can see Japanese view of country and city. Of course everything is made of lego.

Next is Imagination zone. There are seven attractions and rides. You can watch theaters about space and technique.

Last is DUPLO land. There are many children’s attractions. So if you go to there with children, you had better go to DUPLO land.
